摘 要
宋代诗人苏轼的诗词是我国文学历史上浓墨重彩的一笔,影响了中华文化的传播与发扬。本文主要探讨了许渊冲三美翻译理论在苏轼诗词英译中的具体体现。许渊冲的三美翻译理论主张在翻译过程中要尽可能地传达原诗的意美、音美和形美,这一理论在苏轼诗词的英译中得到了充分的体现。许渊冲在英译苏轼诗词时,注重传达原诗的意美。他力求将苏轼诗词的意境、情感和思想表达得淋漓尽致,使读者能够感受到原诗的美感和韵味。他运用丰富的词汇和优美的语言,将苏轼的诗词翻译得优美动人,展现了其高超的翻译技艺。许渊冲在英译苏轼诗词时,注重保留原诗的音韵美。他巧妙地运用英语的音韵和节奏,使译诗在音韵上与原诗相近,让读者在阅读时能够感受到原诗的音乐性和节奏感。许渊冲在英译苏轼诗词时,还力求保持原诗的形式美。他尽量保留原诗的句式和结构,使译诗在形式上与原诗相近,展现出原诗的整齐和对称美。深入理解其在翻译过程中的实际应用和效果,从而提高自身的翻译水平和翻译质量。同时,也为翻译实践和翻译理论研究提供更多的参考和借鉴。

ABSTRACT
The poetry of Su Shi, a poet in Song Dynasty, is one of the most important in the history of Chinese literature, which influences the spread and development of Chinese culture. This paper mainly discusses the embodiment of Xu Yuanchong's three-beauty translation theory in the English translation of Su Shi's poetry. Xu Yuanchong's theory of "Three Beauties", which is fully embodied in the English translation of Su Shi's poems, advocates that the beauty of meaning, sound and form should be conveyed as much as possible in the translation process. When Xu Yuanchong translated Su Shi's poems into English, he paid attention to convey the beauty of the original poems. He strives to express the artistic conception, emotion and thought of Su Shi's poems incisively and vividly, so that readers can feel the beauty and charm of the original poems. He used rich vocabulary and beautiful language to translate Su Shi's poems beautifully, showing his superb translation skills. When Xu Yuanchong translated Su Shi's poems into English, he paid attention to preserving the beauty of the original rhyme. He skillfully uses English rhyme and rhythm to make the translated poem close to the original poem in rhyme, so that readers can feel the musicality and rhythm of the original poem when reading. When Xu Yuanchong translated Su Shi's poems into English, he also tried to maintain the formal beauty of the original poems. He tried to preserve the sentence pattern and structure of the original poem, so that the translated poem is similar to the original poem in form, showing the neat and symmetrical beauty of the original poem. This paper aims to understand the practical application and effect of Xu Yuanchong's three-beauty translation theory in the English translation of Su Shi's poetry, so as to improve my translation level and translation quality. At the same time, it also provides more references for translation practice and translation theory research.

Chapter One Introduction
1.1 Research status
Xu Yuanchong constructed a more systematic and rigorous translation thought on the basis of Chinese "three beauties" and based on the rich experience and translation theory of ancient Chinese poetry.
The theory of ‘three beauties’ is a landmark phenomenon and a cultural phenomenon. In addition, in ancient China, the Song Dynasty was the most outstanding style in addition to poetry. Then, the author applies the concept of "three beauties" to the English translation of poems in the Song Dynasty, and probes into the "beauty of meaning", "beauty of sound" and "beauty of form" in the poems of the Song Dynasty, especially Su Shi.
In the current world pattern, the development of a country has embarked on a road of no return. Through the study of Su Shi's translated works, it is of great significance to further understand the ancient Chinese literati and their poetry creation, to carry forward the profound details of Chinese poetry and Chinese civilization, to promote cultural exchanges and to promote diplomacy with culture.
Under the guidance of the theory of "three beauties", the English translation of Su Shi's ci adopts a descriptive-explanatory approach. First of all, the collection and collation of the "theory of three beauties", Su Shi's poems and many materials of his translation is a time-consuming and laborious work, so this paper adopts the way of description and research. There is no doubt that a full understanding of this theory is of great significance. Secondly, it makes an aesthetic expression of the "theory of three beauties" and analyzes it with examples. Taking the theory of three beauties as an example and Su Shi's poems as an example, the article demonstrates and explains the interpretation function of the theory of three beauties in the English translation of Su ci.
1.2 The main content of the study
The purpose of this study is to explore the embodiment of Xu Yuanchong's three-beauty translation theory in the English translation of Su Shi's poetry. First of all, this paper gives an overview of Xu Yuanchong's three beauty translation theory, and analyzes its core contents, namely, beauty of meaning, beauty of sound and beauty of form. Secondly, taking Su Shi's poetry works as an example, this paper discusses the application and embodiment of Xu Yuanchong's three-beauty translation theory in the English translation of Su Shi's poetry through specific translation cases. Finally, this paper summarizes the research results and points out the importance and guiding significance of Xu Yuanchong's three-beauty translation theory for the English translation of Su Shi's poems, in order to provide reference for the future translation of Su Shi's poems.
In this study, the author first gives an overview of Xu Yuanchong's translation theory of "three aesthetics", and introduces his translation ideas and his emphasis on the beauty of meaning, sound and form. The beauty of meaning means that the translation should convey the beauty of the artistic conception of the original work, so that the reader can feel the emotion expressed by the original work. The beauty of sound refers to keeping the rhythmic beauty of the original as much as possible in translation, so that the translated text can be read with music. Beauty of form refers to keeping the original beauty of form as much as possible in translation, so that the translated text is consistent with the original text in terms of structure and wording.
Then, taking Su Shi's poetry works as an example, through the analysis of specific translation cases, this paper probes into the application and embodiment of Xu Yuanchong's three-beauty translation theory in the English translation of Su Shi's poetry. Based on the translation practice of Su Shi's poetry works, this paper analyzes the difficulties and key points in translation, such as the selection of words, the adjustment of sentence structure, the maintenance of rhythm, etc., so as to obtain the practical application and effect of Xu Yuanchong's three-beauty translation theory in the English translation of Su Shi's poetry.
Finally, this paper summarizes the research results and points out the importance and guiding significance of Xu Yuanchong's three-beauty translation theory for the English translation of Su Shi's poetry. Through comparative analysis, it can be found that the application of Xu Yuanchong's three-beauty translation theory in the English translation of Su Shi's poetry can better retain the aesthetic characteristics of the original text and make the translation more artistic and expressive. This is of great significance for spreading Chinese culture and promoting Su Shi's poetry. At the same time, this study also provides reference for the future translation of Su Shi's poems, and has a certain guiding role in improving the quality and effect of translation.
